2007 World Pyro Olympics

Last night, as a last minute decision. We went to the 2007 World Pyro Olympics near the SM mall of Asia :D I think more people attended this year. Then again, if you were in the mall at the time ... why not? The guys didn't get as near the action, but I got in via the poor man's entrance *wink* *wink* to the bay area :P Like the 30% of people inside the barricaded fence. It was hard to get in ... they put in minimal entrances and exits ... and it all led to the mall (go figure). I don't know if we'd have time to go again and watch the other participant's. Last night's was last year's champion Australia and Polland. I think Polland was equally as good btw :D so it's hard to judge. But the display was again ... AWESOME!!! So go watch if you have time Ü

K-FED gets FUed!

Everybody hates this guy :P It's fun just watching him get slammed. Now the WWE is getting good and bad publicity over this. But publicity is publicity, and the WWE banked in on K-FED's global "unlikeability" to get attention. I wonder where this goes? I guess by now, every "know it all" non-wrestling fan who has been living under a rock for the past 10 years must be saying the cliche "wrestling is fake" :P Stop quit rubbing it in! It's quite annoying! Even little kids know it is! Pro-wrestling organizations admitted it to be choreographed over 10 years ago! It's a show damn it!

When I was looking for suitable presents in greenhills, I stumbled across a spinner wrestling championship belt that was on sale :D The price for the novelty was so low I just had to buy it even it was for displ;ay purposes only. I showed the toy to my younger cousins and now evrey one of them wants one ahheeee :P

Now it hung high up over my workstation. Ralph (the guy facing me) who happens to be a wrestling fanatic as well, suggested we could make it seem like it was up for grabs like in a ladder match ... and damn! It looks good up there he he :D

Undeclared holiday

It's 2007! and already I'm back at work! WTF!? The holiday season was so busy that I didn't really get to rest that much. I was like a ping pong ball that bounced on and off two sides of the table, work (Alabang) and home (Caloocan) ... to top it all off January 2 which in most times is declared a holiday is not!!! My brother and I even gave up staying at the annual new year's day reunion party yesterday. It feels like I was robbed. I'm in no condition to work today.

Yesterday we went to visit our relatives in San Pablo city, Laguna and proceeded to the new year's day party at caloocan at night time. Every year that passes seem to make these family visits seem extra shorter, I just miss the times when these visits lasted atleast 2 days. I suffered 2 major losses in 2006 ... my Gua Ma and my auntie Mary I guess that made me realize that I have to make time for the people that truly care about me and weed out those that just take me for the ride.
