Scoot cat!

I can sooo relate to this cute animation. Just because a similar thing happens to me whenever I stay at our house in Caloocan.

For about 2 months now a cat which my sisters call "Procopio" or sometimes "Mimi" which my uncle brought home one day, because he was amused by his (cat) persistence in following him where ever he went.

He didn't pick him off the streets, he was previously owned by my uncle's friend who has so many cats she gives em to her friends who wanted to take care of them.

Personally I don't call him Procopio, I just make up a sound one usually makes when calling cats. He does have the quality to be sweet and playful ... and by no means is he shy. He has been so spoiled by sisters and uncle that he bullies other cats despite his size! My sister is afraid he might get into a fight with our regular visitor cats which are way way bigger, which is why she lets him sleep in our rooms.

Oddly he is fond of cuddling up beside me when I sleep. I didn't wasn't such a bother the first few days as he slept by my feet ... but since I didn't budge, now he has worked his way squeezing himself near my armpit! I don't know if cats are warmer than us people but it certainly feels that way. I'm just not used to him sleeping "there". He wakes me up at night! Half awake I tell him to scoot or even pick him up to another area at times, but he just keeps on returning.

I've also been a victim of his yawn and burping in which he gives off a fishy foul smelling odor. Arrgh! I wouldn't complain if he gave off a sweet smell and if my family's history wasn't prone to asthma, in fact it's my doctor's theory that my coughing if in fact caused by irritations.

I don't hate him, in fact I'm kinda fond of him. I just wish he'd bother someone else.
