A taste of Wii

I might have lost the chance of buying a Wii for Christmas, but I certainly enjoyed my first Wii game trial! :D Earlier we had our groups Christmas party at Louie, Ron, Jo, and Ferdz's place. Louie happened to own a Wii. It was almost everyones first time playing the stuff, so overacting gestures were expected.

When I arrived Ralph had already been beat by Trina. Since some of us that have been training in boxing (i.e., Ralph) ...
so it seemed that everyone wanted a good laugh out of us guys if we got beat by those that didn't even train (of course the cheers was pro-girls ;P but that's understandable).

I couldn't really measure the range of motion or speed needed to drive my character right, so what I lacked in knowhow I made for in frequency.
I remain undefeated ahem ahem he he ... much to their disappointment ;P *tee hee* After my game(s), I realized I had my controllers mixed up ... so that's why it wasn't reacting right! And no one bothered to tell me hmmph! The game has some delay time when you punch, but I assure you it's very fun ... the crowd reaction added to my Wii experience :D It's sweet to win when people want you to lose ;P

My sweat was pouring after 9 rounds of playing with 4 different people, so this is definitely not a lazy @ss's console. I recently asked at SM and it's selling for P21k, that's already modified so you know what that means. The price lowers to my budget next year :)

I've sworn off most games and all online games. I haven't really enjoyed a console since SNES (hehe) and the last ones we bought were my XBOX (hs pa ko) and my cousin's PS2.

Ngayon ko lang ulit nagustuhan magkaroon ng bagong console. I want a Wii hehe but I probably shouldn't but....gusto ko talaga haha

Magkano na sya next year?

Ahehe ... aliw no?

You're more fortunate. For me it was the NES, then SNES and that was it. A few PC games, tapos nakiki-PS na lang ako after that ;P

If I remember right, at toykingdom it's selling for P21k. That's a Wii unit bundled with 1 remote, a nunchuck, the free Wii Sports (5 games in 1 - bowling, boxing, golf, tennis, baseball) package and 1 free game of your choice. Modified na yun with a 1 year warranty.

Outside (Greenhills and some others), it's around P14k. That's a Wii unit bundled with 1 remote, a nunchuck, and the free Wii Sports package. I don't think it's modified yet ... wala rin free extra game ... ewan yung warranty. So to me the choices of where to buy looks pretty much equal in pros and cons.

Have you seen my previous post on this? I had some of the awesome Wii games video there.

Sana bumaba na yung price! Wii would like to play!!! :D
