Re-connected

Bought the new phone earlier, I figured that waiting for the weekend was just waiting for the inevitable. I really liked my old one, with it's easy of use features, functionality and it's slick appearance ... but I saw the +1 version (Motorola L72) which was just a few hundreds more in price. So I went for that! It's almost the same, except this one's got a 2 Megapixel camera, an FM radio function, and free headphones ... there may be more but I haven't really read the manual yet ;P Another plus is that I can use my old accessories for this phone as well :) (actually that was another factor why I chose the phone)

So those that haven't emailed me their numbers yet can text or give me a ring. I still have the same number, I just lost yours.

I've been having problems finding time to post lately. The Christmas season is busy season, trying to accomplish/finish a lot of things before the year ends ... I've been having technical difficulties!

Phoneless

This afternoon I was victimized by a pickpocket at the 168 mall in divisoria, I lost my phone. I'm usually alert when in such crowded public places, but carrying gifts I bought for people and finding the whereabouts of my mom and sister distracted me this time. That may just have been the weak point the thief or thieves was looking for. This is the first time someone ever attempted to steal something from me (at least one I consciously know), as I don't think I'm the type that they usually go for ... acting tough and also trying to looking it in such places.

I can only speculate when it happened, perhaps it was when that fat lady disgracefully flapped her boobs on my arm and back while squeezing her way beside me and into the crowd ... I avoided her of course, but that might have been the distraction her cohorts need to bait me. It's the only place and moment I can think of where people were literally skin to skin with each other.

We reported it right away, the guards tried to comfort us by saying that there are cases were they are able to recover stolen items ... I'm not keeping my hopes up, I don't even feel the loss. Maybe I'm a bit sad, not because I lost something but because some people have to resort to such acts. It sucks, mostly because of all the work I have to do to recover those contacts! The money to buy a new one is just secondary at this point. I guess the Wii really is out of the question now.

If by some divine intervention
it is returned to me then good. For now it's an early Merry Christmas for those thieves. All I can say is what comes around goes around, I do believe in karma ... perhaps all the negative vibes surrounding me went with my cellphone, perhaps something better is coming my way soon :P

To my friends: Please email me your numbers so I can contact you once I've bought a new phone. Despite the unlikeliness of it being returned, I'm giving the mall security a week before I buy a new one.
