iWatch

The first thing I did this year was to check out where my favorite cable channels moved ;P Now that I think about it, that's what I've been doing every year since we got cable! Sad part is we have Home/Sky cable, and it seems that they won't be providing one of my favorite channels anymore! :( I only get to watch cable on weekends as I don't have cable on our apartment, so I can appreciate Solar's move to have ETC, 2nd Avenue, and C/S on free TV.

I mean come on? Shows like:

30 Rock
Beat the Geeks
Comedy Central
Daily Show with Jon Stewart
Distraction U.S.
Family Guy
King of the Hill
Scare Tactics
South Park
Street Smart
That 70's Show
The Man Show
The Simpsons

Not to mention they picked up all the Late shows!

Late Night with Conan O'Brien
Late Show with David Letterman
Tonight Show with Jay Leno

And then, there's wrestling!

ECW
WWE RAW
WWE Smackdown

I can't believe they didn't subscribe to JackTV this year, I believe this channels has tons (and will add more with the new shows) of viewers with this kind of line up. Why sky!? why!!!? I hope they don't make it premium as I would seriously consider moving to Destiny.

Enough about JackTV. On the movie front, it's going to be quite entertaining ... I could easily name 10+ movies I'd be looking out for! :D (Well some of them aren't quite 2008, but they haven't been shown locally yet.)

Check them out! :D

AVP requiem

Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian

Coraline

Cloverfield

Dr. Seuss's Horton hears a who?

Get Smart

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay

Hellboy II: The Golden Army

Iron Man

Juno

Kung fu Panda

Semi Pro

Speed Racer

The Dark Knight

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

Wall-E

Ah there's also that live action movie Dragon Ball movie that's rumored to be slated for August this year ... I'm not sure how Stephen Chow's producing will factor in. I just hope it's not as weird as I picture it in my head.

It's 2008!

I've been really busy towards the end of the year. It's good to be back! a Happy New Year to everyone! :D

Aside from work, I was preoccupied with the Christmas shopping, visiting God children to give their gifts, helping out a friend getting married (congratulations to Marvin and Richelle), cleaning up my desk, family reunions, and the usual celebrations! Frankly, this year's holiday season was kinda short! I still feel tired from everything, I wish the 26th and today had been declared a holiday.

It ain't official yet, but I've been reassigned to the regular shift ... yay! It started last week after Christmas day, some people were on leave and we took over their spots. There have been some reassignments today, and we've been asked to come on regular time so there's a good chance the graveyard shift is over.
